ARSENAL will be looking to keep the pressure on Manchester United when they face Southampton at the Emirates tomorrow.
Unai Emery 's men trail the Red Devils by a point in the table, with Ole Gunnar's Solskjaer's in-form currently occupying the last Champions League spot.
But with United to potentially drop points against Liverpool at Old Trafford, the Gunners know they could sneak into the top four should they better their result.
Emery is expected to make a number of changes to the team that beat BATE Borisov on Thursday to seal their passage into the last-16 of the Europa League.
Bernd Leno will likely replace Petr Cech between the sticks, while Laurent Koscielny could drop out of the starting XI as club doctors assess his minor calf injury.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles could shake off of an illness to start at right-back instead of Stephan Lichtsteiner, with Sokratis, Shkodran Mustafi and Sead Kolasinac to complete the back four.
Lucas Torreira, Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi could be the midfield three chosen by Emery, with Aaron Ramsey to miss out yet again.
While Mesut Ozil may also have to settle for a place in the dugout after he failed to shine against the Belorussian outfit when given an opportunity by the Spaniard.
Alex Iwobi, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are likely to get the nod in attack for the Premier League's fourth-highest scorers this season.
Speaking ahead of the match against the Saints, Emery said: "Like all the teams in the Premier League, they are difficult and they will be preparing for this match with big players and also with time, and for us it is difficult.
"We have respect for them but we need to impose our game-plan and quality and intensity.
"It is very important to get the three points.
"We are playing at home with our supporters and I want to carry on stronger here, but with a big demand from ourselves to find a victory."
