Aretha Franklin was honoured at a star-studded tribute concert.

A hoard of A-list celebrities such as Alicia Keys and Celine Dion took the stage to pay homage to the late Aretha - who died last year at the age of 76 after a battle with pancreatic cancer - to relive the Queen of Soul's biggest hits in a live tribute concert on Sunday (13.01.19).

Certain family members - including her grandson who spoke at her funeral - attended the event which was held in Los Angeles and hosted by filmmaker and actor Tyler Perry.

Jennifer Hudson, who will star in Franklin's biopic 'Respect', kicked off the tribute performing 'Think' followed by Alicia, 37, performing a duet of 'Day Dreaming' with singer-songwriter SZA, who said she was "blessed" to be there.

Celine received a standing ovation for her rendition of 'A Change is Gonna Come', while Fantasia, Andra Day, Brandi Carlile and Alessia Cara came together to sing 'Natural Woman'.

Common and Yolanda Adams performed 'Young, Gifted and Black' although the rapper inserted his own politically-charged rap lyrics into the 1972 hit.

Smokey Robinson took a moment to remember the soul legend while on stage, adding: "She was a gifted songwriter, a fantastic musician and a great formidable activist." For me, she was my little sister who I loved so much. I still love her so much. But she's gone home now to be with her father. I believe she has been reunited with her entire immediate family."

Other performers included Shirley Caesar, Kelly Clarkson, Chloe X Halle, H.E.R., John Legend and BeBe Winans.

The tribute was put on by the Recording Academy and music mogul Clive Davis insisted that "there will never ever be another Aretha Franklin".

Nikki Bella: I'm still single

Nikki Bella insists she isn't in a relationship with Artem Chigvinstev.

The 35-year-old professional wrestler went on "a few dates" with the 'Dancing with the Stars' professional - whom she was paired with when she appeared on the show in 2017 - but has claimed she isn't exclusively seeing anyone, as she's having fun "dating around".

She said: "I went on a few dates ... and the one thing being a new LA girl that I forget is like, even at the farmers' markets, there's paparazzi. Honestly, it's been a few dates. It's been fun, but I'm just dating around."

The 'Total Bellas' star is playing the field after splitting from former fiancé John Cena just weeks before their wedding last year, but has said she'll never find herself on any dating apps.

She added: "I want someone to know the person before I go on the date so I'm not like going on a date with a serial killer. I will not ever go on Tinder! I'm sorry."

And despite having split from fellow wrestler and actor John, Nikki says she's still "friendly" with her former flame, and would run any future boyfriends past him first to give him a "heads up".

Speaking to Daily Pop, she said: "He and I are friendly. I have given him the heads up on everything because I have so much respect for him. So I told him like, 'Hey! I'm going on a date with this guy, just want you to know.'

"I love him, I have respect for him - he's just such a good friend of mine."

Nikki's comments come after sources previously claimed she and Artem had been "spending time together for a long time".

A source said: "They've been spending time together for a long time, but it's nothing serious right now. They have a strong attraction to each other, but they're just having fun. They're both extremely busy with their own careers, so they spend time together when they can."

Victoria Beckham uses an anti-ageing face cream made from her own blood.

The 44-year-old fashion mogul has splashed out £1,200 on a moisturiser by Dr. Barbara Sturm, which she discovered when visiting Sturm's clinic in Dusseldorf, Germany, last week.

Sharing a picture of the product on her Instagram story, she said: "Dr Sturm took my blood and created healing factors made by my own cells, which is highly anti-inflammatory and regenerative. I'll be testing it out this week both morning and night!"

Dr. Sturm was part of a medical discovery known as the "Kobe Procedure", where a patient's own blood cells are used to produce proteins which jumpstart the healing process and help to rejuvenate skin cells.

This principle is applied to her famed face cream, Dr. Barbara Sturm MC1, where a patient's blood is drawn, then spun into a custom-blended cream for each patient, spawning the so-called 'Vampire Facial' name.

The former Spice Girl - who has children Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, and Cruz, 13 and seven-year-old Harper, with husband David Beckham - discovered the product while taking her daughter for a 'baby facial' at the clinic.

The fashion designer filmed Harper being pampered at the luxury clinic, with the caption: "We MUST use CLEAN products on our children. (sic)"

Victoria has a sweet bond with her daughter and often posts pictures of them enjoying quality time together.

The star shared footage of her youngest child's "chic" hair transformation on Instagram Stories over the weekend, writing: She is going short ... Beyond CUTE!!! ... This haircut is everything (sic)"

Alicia Keys is set to host the Grammy Awards next month

The 37-year-old singer will host the prestigious music award ceremony in Los Angeles on February 10, as she announced the news in a video posted to her YouTube channel on Tuesday, 15 January, which was titled “I’m Hosting the 2019 Grammys (Alicia Keys)”.

The nine-minute video features a clip of her receiving the phone call from her manager who delivered the exciting news, as well as clips of her spilling the details to her family – including her mother, her husband Swizz Beatz, and their children, eight-year-old Egypt and four-year-old Genesis – and staff members.

Alicia then spends the rest of the video trying on outfits, and taking part in a photoshoot for promotional material alongside the 15 golden gongs she already owns herself

In the description of the video, the Fallin singer wrote: “I’m soooo EXCITED to announce that I’ll be hosting the 61st Annual Grammy Awards !!

“There’s so much in store and I CAN’T WAIT for y’all to see it ALL come to life Tune in on February 10th at 5PM PST / 8PM EST. Only on CBS! (sic)”

Grammy Awards Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich heaped praise on Alicia in a statement, saying he hopes she will “guide” Grammy viewers through the “very special” show in February

He said: “Alicia is one of those rare artists who meld true musical genius with heartfelt emotional lyrics to create a unique approach to everything she does. We have no doubt that she’ll bring all of that as she guides millions of Grammy viewers through what we believe will be a very special show in February.”

Kendrick Lamar is nominated for the most gongs this year with eight nods to his name, with Drake close behind with seven, and Boi-1da and Brandi Carlile receiving six nominations each.

Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Childish Gambino, Maren Morris, R&B newcomer H.E.R., and producer Sounwave all have five nominations.

Petr Cech: Arsenal keeper to retire at the end of the season

Arsenal keeper Petr Cech says he will retire at the end of the season.

The 36-year-old joined Arsenal in June 2015 from the club's London rivals Chelsea, where he spent 11 years.

"Having played 15 years in the Premier League and won every single trophy possible, I feel like I have achieved everything I set out to achieve," said the ex-Czech Republic international.

"I will continue to work hard at Arsenal to hopefully win one more trophy this season."

He added: "Then I am looking forward to seeing what holds for me off the pitch."

“I just want you all to understand that devastated is an understatement for all that I feel currently,” she added. “I pray for all the families [and] woman who have been affected by my father’s actions. Trust, I have been deeply affected by all of this.”

Now that the heat has become unbearable for the artiste, he seems to have remembered his roots. Reports indeed say singer R.
