2 Chainz announced on Tuesday that LeBron James worked as an A&R on his upcoming full-length RAP OR GO TO THE LEAGUE.
The news comes in the form of a minute-long clip, which features James and the Atlanta rapper discussing the album's contents. "RAP OR GO TO THE LEAGUE the album A&R by @kingjames arrives 3/1" 2 Chainz wrote in the post's caption.
As strange as this may seem, it makes sense because Lebron James is a hip-hop head and would definitely understand what is expected to make a dope rap album.
Another reason why this makes sense is because the album has a basketball theme that is evident in the album's title RAP OR GO TO THE LEAGUE which connotes the life choices that 2 Chainz had. He was either going to play basketball or become a rapper.
RAP OR GO TO THE LEAGUE is due out on March 1.
