Nigerian musician has revealed that he actually collected money from Festus Keyamo, spokesperson of President Muhammadu Buhari’s reelection campaign.

YFDTv News

After Charly Boy real name Charles Oputa, a veteran Nigerian musician has revealed that he actually collected money from Festus Keyamo, spokesperson of President Muhammadu Buhari’s reelection campaign.

This revelation has whipped up quite a sentiment on social media, with some Nigerians saying it was impossible that Keyamo paid Charly Boy, millions for “whack” song like that.

Charly Boy had said that Keyamo paid him several millions and that the money was payment for his work and not a bribe to turn the heat on the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party,PDP.

Well, Nigerians have said that Charly Boy, accepting money from Keyamo, goes a long way, in destroying activism in Nigeria – and putting a big question mark on activism in the country.

This #OurMumuDonDo saga is an eye opener. Now Nigerians know for sure that activism is just another hussle. Activists are hungry Nigerians who are louder and bolder than the rest of us. All they also want is food.

So Charly boy wants us to believe he was given over N100,000,000 for just music because you can sing like Beyonce, rap like Drake, dance like Michael Jackson and do beats like Jay Z. Why then do others want their share coz na dem link u up for the music contract??? #OurMumuDonDo

So @Areafada1 Charley Boy and @adeyanjudeji played a football bet. While Deji was patiently waiting for the full potential winning. Charly Boy went behind his back and Cash-Out. #OurMumuDonDo

Las Las, activism in Nigeria are quick mean to get part of the national cake. #OurMumuDonDo is a typical example.

How Nigerians take this scammers seriously is another sad.
Some even died in the struggle not knowing the real intentions are selfish.

We have a long way to go

This #ourmumudondo stories flying around may seem trifle to some, but it sure has huge implication for the struggle: politicians never will take the masses serious. @The_Seeker76 @CACCOT1

Replying to @iAGB4REAL @Areafada1

I knew Charly boy has cashed out the moment I noticed him attacking Atiku before the elections while ignoring Buhari. #OurMumuDonDo

Comrade @iAGB4REAL

@Areafada1 thinks that all Nigerians have turned Mumu because he is driving #OurMumuDonDo movement.

Check out the useless dried song he did on Atiku.

Mentioned APC in just 1 line at the intro.

He thought that by doing that he would ve confused everyone.

Stories like @Areafada1 @adeyanjudeji #OurMumuDonDo transaction is troubling, it shows the nature of #Activism on social media which seems to be more of vested interested. This is one of the reasons why the politicians don't budge because they can just slap their voice with money

I have always opined that in Nigeria, we only cry foul if we are not benefiting from the present government , hypocrisy is what we see everywhere in Nigeria, nobody truly cares for the common man, they all want their share. #OurMumuDonDo is another scam
